Membership Profile Information: To complete your membership profile, we collect additional details such as your phone number, date of birth, gender, blood group, emirate of residence, and information about your riding experience.
Emergency Contact Information: We collect the name, phone number, and your relationship to an emergency contact. You must have their consent to provide this information to us.
Health information: We ask for your allergies or any specific medical conditions. This is completely voluntary, not mandatory information, however we recommend you give out this information to us for us to ensure your safety in case of health or any other emergencies.
Your motorcycle information: We ask details of your motorcycle make model and year for us to first verify if you actually have your own motorcycle, and also if your motorcycle is suitable for our style of long and sometimes non-tarmac roads.
User Content: We collect the photos you choose to upload as your profile picture.

2. Usage Data:

Ride Participation: We keep a record of the club rides and events you sign up for, including your chosen meeting points and pillion status. This helps us plan our rides better.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

To Provide and Maintain Our Service: To authenticate you, manage your account, and allow you to participate in rides.
For Safety and Security: Your blood group, allergy and medical data and emergency contact details are collected for your safety during club events.
To Communicate With You: To send you information about club events, updates, and other administrative messages.
To Personalize Your Experience: To display relevant information, such as upcoming ride details and birthday announcements for fellow members on the events calendar.

How We Share Your Information

We are committed to maintaining your trust, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

With Other Club Members: Some of your information, such as your name and participation status for a ride, will be visible to other logged-in members. However, not all logged in users can see your information. In order for the logged in user to see your ride data, they need to be approved by the club as a guest member, who will see your participation in the rides, or a full member who can also see your birthday as additional information.
Service Providers: We may share data with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (e.g., Vercel and Render), database (Supabase) and image storage (e.g., Cloudinary). These companies are obligated to protect your data.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard measures, such as HTTPS encryption and well known secure backend platforms such as Strapi, to protect your information during transit. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Accessing and Updating: You can view and edit your profile information on the "Membership" page of our Site and App.
